This includes babies up through college-age students. Regardless of your child’s age, our Next Gen Ministry has something for them.
Nursery
Our nursery is available for all services and provides not just a lot of love and cuddles but also a safe environment and Bible lessons for newborns through preschool.
Kids
Our elementary-aged Kids Ministry is a place where your child can come and be loved on, be taught about Jesus and kept safe. We have so many fun activities for this age outside of Sunday Services.
Youth
Our Youth includes students in Middle School and High School. They meet weekly for lessons, fun games, and food. There’s always food. It’s a great place for your students to connect with others and solidify their relations with Jesus.
College
We are currently building our college-aged group. We realize there is a need for young adults who have graduated from high school and are either away from home for the first time, or still at home but need more depth in their walk with God.
NEXT GEN STAFF
I was raised in Michigan and moved from North Carolina this past October. I’m married and have a young son, and our family includes our St. Berdoodle dog. We love spending time outdoors, being active, and enjoying family adventures together.
I attended Olivet Nazarene University in Bourbonnais, Illinois, where I earned my BS in Criminal Justice. I served in the Army as an intelligence officer and have volunteered in children’s ministry for several years. I joined Envoy Church in October 2025 and am excited to serve as the Kids Coordinator, helping create a safe, fun, and meaningful environment for kids to grow in their faith.
I love hiking, sports, board and card games, reading, and tackling house projects or renovations. Our St. Berdoodle keeps life lively and full of laughter.
I grew up at Envoy church, back when it was called Sunnyside. I grew up mountain biking, camping, and four-wheeling with my and my Dad’s Jeeps. As a high school student I decided I wanted to go into full time ministry as a career, and attended Ozark Christian college from 2010-2014.
Janie grew up in Fairplay, Colorado, spending most of her free time helping her dad at Camp Como. She loves camping, hiking, and anything that has to do with being out in God’s Creation!
Janie and I met at Ozark Christian College in 2013. After nearly two years of trying, Janie finally agreed to a date with me, and we got married in October of 2015. Shortly after, I took my first full time ministry job as a youth pastor in Carl Junction, MO. Janie finished school, and started working as a 6th grade special education teacher in 2016. Our first child, Asa was born in 2019, and our second, Paxton, was born in 2023!
We decided to move back to Colorado, and I had the privilege of coming back to my home church in July of 2022. I am so blessed to serve at a place that played a huge part in shaping me into who I am today. Janie and I are excited for all of the things happening here, in Colorado Springs, and couldn’t be more excited to be a part of it!
