Here at Envoy we believe in the power of prayer. Because of this, we seek God’s guidance and direction through prayer in all that we do as a church and in all aspects of our daily lives. You are not alone in your situation! The staff, elders, and Prayer Team at Envoy are always available to call on God for those in need. Please share your requests with us so that we can stand alongside you in prayer. If you need some additional support, let us know so we can help you get connected with others here at Envoy who understand your struggle and can offer hope.
If you need prayer, please share the prayer request form on this page.
You may add your prayer request to our prayer wall using the form below. Once your prayer request is received, we will share it according to your instructions. Feel free to submit as many prayer requests as you like! A friend is battling breast cancer and her father-in-law recently passed away unexpectedly. Their family and friends have been stuggling as their emotions and stress consume their days. Please pray for peace, comfort, and strength that only God can provide; for healing if it be His will, and that His glory be known through this difficult time. May those in their lives who have not accepted Jesus as their savior, find Him, draw near, and have their names entered into the book of life.
In all things, we give thanks. Praise God! Church thank you for praying for teachers schools students and administrators. We need God in our schools. Will you pray for my prodigal friend John K, who is not speaking to me yet will come forward asking forgiveness for walking away from the Lord and hurting Mary. Will you pray for Gods Will to soften his heart. I want to thank you Lord for your miracles in advance. Please answer my prayers. UPDATE ON DAD: First I want to thank all of you for the prayerful support I have been getting!
I have a new motto which is "I CHOOSE JOY!" I am so glad the Lord spoke to me about this because the very nature of dementia is up and down.
Since I posted my initial request, Dad had gone up and down multiple times and right now, he is down. They think Dad might have an infection related to the pacemaker they put in a few weeks ago. His fever is back up again today.
So, I ask for continued prayers. I am just asking the Lord to allow what is best for Dad, as an extended life may not be the kind thing for him. Thank all you again! Blessings upon you! Prayers for the Andler family since Jordan's grandmother passed from cancer last week. We have known Karen and family more than 40 years. I praise God that Karen no longer suffers, but ask comfort and strength for the family.
Another request , our D-in-L's Bro-in-law Dan Bridges has just been diagnosed with high risk prostate cancer. He is about 55 or 56. Pray God's wisdom for whatever the Drs suggest is the best treatment. Dan and family are strong Christians. This was totally unexpected. The family lives in Jordan & were in the states for the oldest son's wedding in July. They run a wood-carving shop for export of gifts and need wisdom whether to return to Jordan for treatment or stay in the U.S.Their youngest daughter is still in high school and this will be especially hard for her...either by going back to school there while her dad is undergoing treatments or staying here and starting a new school. A big upheaval for the family either way. Thanks for praying. Just an update. It has been a month since my back surgery. My migraines are greatly reduced along with the back pain.l am allowed to get out of bed and walk some with the physical therapist. I praise the Lord for new strength and healing. What a wonderful God we serve. Please pray for our church member sister Connie Clark. She had a knee replacement last week and is now having complications. Please pray for healing. Please join me in praying, I wish for the people in my life that have a significant impact on me are able to see the difference they make and find value in themselves. They deserve to see themselves the way I do and love themselves they way God loves them. First, I wanted to thank everyone for their prayers. It has been such a comfort to me.
I have waited to send an update because it seems to be changing by the hour! His temp came down to normal but now he is very unresponsive. Only saying, "yes", "no" and "ok."
I don't have an update today yet, but things aren't sounding good to me. I have a ticket to fly out over Labor Day but I am not sure that it will be soon enough.
So, I am continuing to ask for prayer for my Dad, my stepmother and for me to have peace and choose JOY!! Thank you again for your prayerful support! My dad of 84, who has been suffering from dementia for several years, has a temperature of 103, and has been moved from the facility where he was, to the hospital. I have been asking the Lord to allow what is best for Dad and to not let him continue to decline for many years to come. Please pray for strength for my family and for peace whatever happens and help us to choose joy in the Lord despite our circumstances.Dorenna
